I see that Sunoco sites have changed to Petro-Canada.  What’s happened?
  • The decision was made to convert Sunoco retail sites in Ontario to Petro-Canada. By making this change, we will be in a better position to deliver a consistent, high quality offer to our customers in Canada across our entire network.
Can I still buy Ultra 94?
  • Yes, Ultra 94 is now available for purchase at many Petro-Canada locations in Ontario. Ultra 94 will be available at many more locations in 2011.

Is the Ultra 94 sold at Petro-Canada still the same fuel that I purchased at Sunoco?
  • Yes, this specialized gasoline product is the same high quality fuel product that was available under the Sunoco brand.  All of the performance and octane benefits remain unchanged.
Will my Sunoco cards work at Petro-Canada?
  • You can no longer use specific retail and commercial cards and products for the Sunoco brand. For more information, please call customer service at 1 (800) 668-0220 (English) or 1 (800) 668-0222 (French).
How does the merger impact me as a Petro-Points / Sunoco Performance Points member? 
  • The Petro-Points program remains unchanged, so you can continue to earn and redeem Petro-Points at Petro-Canada sites.
  • The Sunoco Performance Points program was discontinued as of Dec. 31, 2010
Now that the Sunoco Performance Points program has been discontinued, what will happen to my Sunoco Performance Points? Can I still convert my Sunoco Performance Points to Petro-Points? 
  • As a former Sunoco Performance Points member, Petro-Canada is pleased to offer you two Petro-Points for every one Sunoco Performance Point to welcome you to the Petro-Points program.
  • If you provided your name and address when you signed up for your Sunoco Performance Points membership, you should have received a letter in Feb. 2011 advising you that your points have been converted to Petro-Points.
  • If you did not provide your name and address when you signed up for your Sunoco Performance Points membership, please contact us at 1 (888) 278-6267 to convert your points to Petro-Points.
I still have a Sunoco Gift Card. Will the outstanding balance be honoured?
  • Yes, we will honour the outstanding balance of any gift cards you may have purchased. Please contact our Customer Service Network at 1 (800) 668-0220 (English) or 1 (800) 668-0222 (French) to find out how.
