 Our involvement with the Canadian Olympic Team is one of many ways in which Petro-Canada supports Canadian Olympic athletes and the Olympic Movement in Canada.
Over the past 22 years, we have proudly supported thousands of Canadian athletes and coaches. We believe in supporting Canadian athletes at the early stages of their careers, long before they become stars. We support the Canadian Olympic Team in
these ways:
- Olympic athletes and their coaches are eligible to receive financial assistance through the Petro-Canada Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE)™ Fund. View our FACE™ recipients
- Community Outreach Program: In partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and as part of their annual Congress, Petro-Canada sponsors a Community Outreach Program in every year. The program pairs prominent Olympic Athletes with schools in a selected city for a series of inspirational sessions. Students of all ages meet high profile and notable Olympic athletes and have a chance to listen and ask questions about their careers in sport.
