Our 25-year Legacy of Supporting the Canadian Olympic Team Extends Beyond 2012
Suncor’s involvement in the Canadian Olympic movement is a journey that began in 1987 when Petro-Canada organized and sponsored the Torch Relay for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games in Calgary. The ’88 Relay was extremely successful, as was our commemorative Torch glassware campaign. Over the years we’ve built on our Olympic legacy established in 1988 and have developed other long-standing programs with the Canadian Olympic Committee.
Our continued partnership with the Canadian Olympic team will help ensure Canadian athletes, coaches and their families can continue to dream big beyond 2012.
