2025 PETRO-POINTS RACE TO PLATINUM PROMOTION

OFFICIAL RULES
1 HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1.1 Sponsors: The sponsor of this Promotion is Suncor Energy Products Partnership (“Suncor”).
1.2 Eligibility: The 2025 PETRO-POINTS RACE TO PLATINUM PROMOTION (“Promotion”) is open to residents of Canada only:
1.2.1 who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence;
1.2.2 who are registered members of and in good standing of the Petro-Points program; and
1.2.3 who are in compliance with these rules (“Rules”).
Persons meeting all these criteria will each be referred to as an “Eligible Participant”.
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Promotion:
1.2.4 employees and retirees of Suncor, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, agents, associates, dealers, representatives, advertising, and promotional agencies;
1.2.5 members of the immediate family (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother, spouse) of the individuals outlined in 1.2.4; and
1.2.6 any person domiciled with the individuals outlined in 1.2.4 and 1.2.5.
1.3 Promotion Period: The Promotion will begin on 20 November 2025 and end on the date upon which the two hundredth (200th) Eligible Participant satisfies the Bonus Requirement (such term referred to herein as the “Promotion Period”).
1.4 Purchase Tracking and Earned Bonus: Suncor will track the volume of gasoline or diesel (“Eligible Fuel Products”) purchased by Eligible Participants who: (i) present their Petro-Points card; (ii) present a Triangle Rewards card that has been linked to their Petro-Points card; or (iii) pay with an RBC debit or credit card that has been linked to their Petro-Points card at the time of the purchase at any participating Petro-Canada station in Canada during the Promotion Period. The first two hundred (200) Eligible Participants to purchase one thousand (1,000) liters of Eligible Fuel Products during the Promotion Period (the “Bonus Requirement”) will each receive a one-time bonus of one million (1,000,000) Petro-Points (value one thousand dollars ($1,000)) (the “Bonus”).
2 BONUS DETAILS
2.1 Number of Bonuses: There are a total of two hundred (200) Bonus awards available during the Promotion Period. Under no circumstances will Suncor be required to award more than two hundred (200) Bonus awards.
2.2 Release Requirement: As a condition of being awarded a Bonus, the Eligible Participant who has met the Bonus Requirement must sign and return a standard Declaration and Release form in which the Eligible Participant confirms compliance with the Rules (including the eligibility requirements set out in Section 1.2, accepts the Bonus as awarded, and releases Suncor from all liability. The Eligible Participant who has met the Bonus Requirement will have five (5) business days to return the Declaration and Release form upon receipt by email to Suncor’s representative. If the Eligible Participant who has met the Bonus Requirement does not do so, the next sequential Eligible Participant to have (other than being among the first two hundred (200) Eligible Participants to have done so) met the Bonus Requirement will selected for a Bonus award and the initially selected Eligible Participant will be disqualified, such Eligible Participant’s right to a Bonus will be forfeited and that selected Eligible Participant will have no further recourse towards Suncor or anyone involved in the Promotion.
2.3 Bonus Awarding: Subject to these Rules, the Bonus must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitutions or transfers of the Bonus will be allowed. The Bonus will be awarded within six (6) to eight (8) weeks after the applicable Eligible Participant meets the Bonus Requirement. Once the Bonus has been awarded, the Eligible Participant will have no further recourse against Suncor.
2.4 Name Required: Purchases connected to Petro-Points cards without a name on the card are eligible to participate in the Promotion. In such case, the Eligible Participant whose name and address for such Petro-Points card appears in Suncor’s Petro-Points database shall be the person eligible to be awarded the Bonus. If no name and address for such Petro-Points card appears in Suncor’s Petro-Points database, the initially selected Eligible Participant will be disqualified, such Eligible Participant’s right to be awarded a Bonus will be forfeited and that selected Eligible Participant will have no further recourse towards Suncor or anyone involved in the Promotion.
2.5 Platinum Status: Effective as of the date of the grant of the Bonus, the Eligible Participant who has met the Bonus Requirement will be awarded Platinum status in the Petro-Points Program, which status will be valid until the next following status qualification reset date.
3 GENERAL
3.1 Bonus Requirement Verification: Bonus awards are subject to verification by Suncor and/or its designated representatives. Purchases made in an attempt to consolidate or otherwise credit purchases by multiple natural persons under a single Petro-Points account will be deemed invalid and each Eligible Participant associated with any such attempt (as determined by Suncor in its sole an absolute discretion) will be ineligible to receive a Bonus. Purchases using Petro-points accounts with multiple addresses, under multiple identities, through the use of any device or artifice to simulate one or more purchases or otherwise fabricate purchase records are automatically void. All purchase transaction receipts obtained through unauthorized sources, or which are illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged or irregular in any way, are automatically void. Suncor will be the sole and final arbiter in validating the validity of an alleged qualifying purchase of Eligible Fuel Products.
3.2 Computer Error: In the event that the computerized system is unable to fully process the purchase transaction while the Eligible Participant is at the participating Petro-Canada station (due to temporary system problems not requiring a manual purchase transaction as described in Section 3.2), the purchase transaction will still be eligible to participate in the Promotion. The purchase transaction will be subsequently processed through the Promotion computer system.
3.3 Participant Agreement: By participating in the Promotion and accepting the Bonus, each Bonus recipient agrees:
(a) to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of Suncor;
(b) to the collection and use of his/her/their personal information by Suncor for Promotion related purposes, including, without limitation, to permit Suncor to store, share and use his/her/their name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address, alias or platform handle (as applicable) submitted in connection with the awarding of a Bonus only for the purposes of administering this Promotion in accordance with these Rules and that Suncor may disclose such personal information to third-party service providers and agents of Suncor in connection with any of the activities listed above;
(c) to release and hold harmless Suncor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives including advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Promotion Group”), from any and all liability for any claims/damages whatsoever with respect to acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Bonus, and/or entry or attempt to enter the Promotion;
(d) that no member of the Promotion Group has made any warranty, condition, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Bonus;
(e) that the Promotion Group shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind, including death, resulting from participation in the Promotion;
(f) to permit Suncor to use his/her/their name, photograph, the details on his/her/their entry, city, province/territory of residence, and/or declarations regarding the awarding of a Bonus in perpetuity for advertising or publicity purposes without any compensation;
(g) By participating in the Promotion, each winner agrees to actively cooperate with the Promotion Sponsor in the creation and provision of additional content related to their participation and/or prize experience. This may include, but is not limited to, supplying photographs, video footage, or testimonials, as specifically and reasonably requested by the Promotion Sponsor. The winner agrees to provide such content within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Promotion Sponsor; and
(h) to sign a Declaration and Release as described in Section 2.2.
3.4 Decisions of Suncor: The decisions of Suncor in relation to this Promotion, will be final and binding on all Eligible Participants, subject to what is otherwise provided in these Rules.
3.5 Suncor Not Liable: Suncor shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Promotion entry information, technical malfunctions, lost / delayed / incomplete / interrupted / misdirected / stolen / illegible / deleted data / network transmissions, line failures of any telecommunication network, failure of computer equipment, software, websites, inability to access any online service or web site, or any other malfunction, human or technical error, or any injury or damage to an Eligible Participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Promotion.
3.6 Promotion Changes/Termination: Suncor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Promotion, at its sole discretion, in the event of a technical failure, computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud (including, but not limited to the use of artificial or computerized methods of entry or bots) or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness or normal operation of the Promotion.
3.7 System Error: If a selected Eligible Participant is awarded a Bonus due to a system error, malfunction or defect or human error, the Bonus will be re-awarded.
3.8 No Additional Bonuses: Under no circumstances will Suncor be required to award more Bonuses than indicated in these Rules or to award a Bonus otherwise than in accordance with these Rules.
3.9 Applicable Law, Severability, Language: The Promotion is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws, as well as the rules adopted in view of said laws. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Rules or the rights and obligations as between the Eligible Participant and Suncor in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. If a paragraph of these Rules is declared illegal, non-executable or null by a competent court, then such paragraph will be considered void, but all unaffected paragraphs will be applied within the limits of the law. In case of any discrepancy between the French and English versions of these Rules, the English version shall prevail.
