Lyne-Marie Bilodeau has long dreamed of taking part in the Paralympic Games… and with the support of her coach, Graham Nishikawa, that dream is finally going to come true this year. Determined to give it her all, this young athlete recently left her native Québec to settle in western Canada, where she is now part of the Canadian national team.
Since the move, she has progressed faster than ever, and it is with real hope and optimism that she can look forward to going to Beijing to compete in her first Paralympic Games. It shouldn’t be a surprise to learn that she and her trainer are aiming for nothing less than a podium finish!
“Beijing will be the first great step for Lyne-Marie, just to take it all in and then we’re going to focus in on her having the best race of her life.”
