Our Olympic and Paralympic partners.

We believe in supporting aspiring Canadian athletes, coaches and their families. That’s why we are so excited about our partnership with the Canadian Olympic Team, the Canadian Paralympic Team and the Coaching Association of Canada.

The Canadian Olympic Committee partnership.

For over 30 years, we have partnered with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) to support the Canadian Olympic Team.

The COC is a national, independent, not-for-profit organization committed to sport excellence. It is responsible for:
  • Canada’s participation in the Olympic Games, the Pan American Games and the Youth Olympic Games
  • Managing cultural and educational programs that promote Olympic values
  • Selecting and supporting Canadian cities in their bids to host Olympic, Olympic Winter and Pan American Games

The Canadian Paralympic Committee partnership.

We have partnered with the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) to support the Canadian Paralympic Team for over 25 years.

The Canadian Paralympic Committee is a non-profit, private organization with 25 member sports organizations dedicated to strengthening the Paralympic Movement. The Canadian Paralympic Committee's vision is to be the world's leading Paralympic nation. Its mission is to lead the development of a sustainable Paralympic sport system in Canada to enable athletes to reach the podium at the Paralympic Games.

By supporting Canadian high performance athletes with a disability and promoting their success, the Canadian Paralympic Committee inspires all Canadians with a disability to get involved in sport through programs delivered by its member organizations.

The Coaching Association of Canada partnership.

At Petro-Canada, we understand and appreciate the value of coaching which is why our partnership with the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is so important to us.

The Coaching Association of Canada unites stakeholders and partners in the shared pursuit of raising the skills and stature of coaches. Through their programs, the CAC:
