1.3 Contest Period and Entry:
Prize Entry by Purchase: Every time an Eligible Entrant purchases Petro-Points Eligible Products or Services at any participating Petro-Canada station in Canada during a specific Contest period as specified below (“Purchase Entry”), the Eligible Entrant automatically qualifies for one (1) ballot into the Contest. If they make a fuel purchase via the Petro-Canada App, they will receive two (2) ballots into the Contest. If they make a purchase using an RBC Credit or Debit Card that is linked to a Petro-Points account, they will receive three (3) ballots into the Contest. If they make a fuel purchase using the RBC Credit or Debit Card linked to a Petro-Points account, they will receive six (6) ballots. “Petro-Points Eligible Products or Services” are defined as a minimum purchase that earns at least ten (10) Petro-Points on Petro-Points-eligible PetroCanada products or services (tobacco, vaping products, gift cards, transit tickets, and taxes on non-petroleum purchases are not eligible for Petro-Points) from participating Petro-Canada retail service stations. To qualify and be eligible for a ballot via a Purchase Entry, Eligible Entrants must present their Petro-Points card (“Petro-Points Card”), or pay with: (i) the Petro-Canada mobile app in which such Eligible Entrant has registered their Petro-Points number; or (ii) a RBC debit or credit card that has been linked to a Petro-Points card at the time of the purchase transaction.
Prize Entry by Promotional E-mail or Social Media: The Contest Sponsor may, but shall not be obligated to, offer opportunities for additional no-purchase entries (in addition to Mail-In Entries) by way of e-mail communications or social media activity to Petro-Points members. Eligible Entrants may click the applicable link in such e-mail communication or engage in social media posts to receive additional ballots for the final prize draw (“E-Mail Entry” or “Social Media Entry”, respectively). E-Mail and Social Media Entries are limited to no more than 10 entries during the Contest Period per Eligible Entrant.
Prize Entry by Mail-in Submission: No purchase is necessary to win a Prize. Eligible Entrants may receive one (1) ballot for a Prize Draw in the Contest without making a purchase transaction (“Mail-In Entry”) by sending by mail a hand-written, original (not mechanically reproduced), distinctly worded, 25 word or more description of why the Eligible Entrant likes Petro-Points, which must include the Eligible Entrant’s PetroPoints number, to: 2022 Petro-Points PUMP UP THE POINTS Contest, 20440 Simcoe Street, Seagrave, Ontario, L0C 1G0. Entries must be: (1) postmarked on or after March 15, 2022 and no later than May 23, 2022 and (2) must be received no later than May 31, 2022. Limit of one (1) ballot per envelope with sufficient postage. All Mail-In Entries will bear the same odds of winning a Prize as Purchase Entries. Potential mailin winners will be notified on how to claim a Prize (See Rules 2.3 through 2.6 for related details). Purchase Entries, E-Mail Entries, Social Media Entries, and Mail-In Entries are collectively referred to herein as “Entries”.
Prize Entry Period for Entries: All eligible Entries from Eligible Entrants made between 12:00 a.m., Mountain Time, March 15, 2022 to 11:59 p.m., Mountain Time, May 23, 2022 automatically qualify for one (1) ballot into the Contest.
1.4 Contest Entry Restrictions: Equivalent of a maximum of one (1) ballot per qualifying Entry.
1.5 Awarding of Prize: Subject to the Rules of the Contest, each Contest Prize will be awarded to the Eligible Entrant whose name and address appears on Suncor’s Petro-Points database for the Petro-Points Card, account associated with the e-mail address applicable to an E-Mail Entry or Social Media Entry, or for the Petro-Points Card that has been linked to a RBC credit or debit card that was used on the potentially winning Entry. Except as otherwise provided for herein, namely in Section 1.2.5, this awarding is irrespective of the name appearing on the credit card or debit card that may have been used as the form of payment for a potentially winning Purchase Entry. In the event of a discrepancy or dispute as to the identity of the Eligible Entrant associated with the winning Petro-Points account, Suncor’s determination of the identity of such Eligible Entrant shall be final and binding. Entries who have been issued Petro-Points Cards without a name on the Card are eligible to enter the Contest, with the Eligible Entrant whose name and address for such Petro-Points Card appears on Suncor’s PetroPoints database being the person eligible to win the Prize, subject to the Rules of the Contest.
2. PRIZE
2.1 Prizes: There will be 10 Prizes of 1 million Petro-Points, 500 Prizes of 100,000 Petro-Points, and 5000 Prizes of 10,000 Petro-Points. Each Prize will consist of a one-time credit to the winner’s Petro-Points account in the form of Petro-Points, or another payment vehicle as determined by Suncor. The value of this Prize is based on an approximate that 1 million Petro-Points is the equivalent of $1000, 100,000 Petro-Points are equivalent to $100, and 10,000 Petro-Points is equivalent to $10. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitutions or transfers of the Prize will be allowed. The Prize winner shall not be entitled to convert the credit for cash. Only one (1) Prize per person can be won during the Contest for 1 million Petro-Points. A person winning 100,000 or 10,000 Petro-Points can win again but not in the same bi-weekly pull. Each Prize will be awarded within ten (10) weeks of the Prize Draw or within ten (10) weeks of the Contest’s end date of May 24, 2022. Once a Prize has been awarded, the winner will have no further recourse against the Contest Sponsor.
2.2 Contest Draw: All Prizes will be awarded by a random computer generated draw (See Rules 2.3 through 2.6).
2.3 Odds: The odds of being randomly selected for a Prize depend on the actual number of entries received during the Contest entry period.

3. GENERAL RULES
3.1 All Contest Prize claims are subject to verification by Contest Sponsor and/or their designated representatives. Entries made with multiple addresses, under multiple identities, through the use of any device or artifice to enter multiple times or entries that are in excess of the permitted number of entries for the Contest period(s) are automatically void. All purchase transaction receipts obtained through unauthorized sources or which are illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged or irregular in any way, are automatically void. Contest Sponsor will be the sole and final reference source in validating Prize claims.
3.2 If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the primary Petro-Points Member as identified in the Petro-Points database as provided at time of entry.
3.3 Purchase transactions of Petro-Points Eligible Products or Services where payment is made at a participating Petro-Canada via manual purchase transaction (in the event the system is down) are not automatically eligible transactions in the Contest. Petro-Points Members may submit the transaction as a Manual Purchase entry into the Contest, by sending the original (not mechanically reproduced) register receipt along with the Eligible Entrants Petro-Points number to: 2021 Petro-Points PUMP UP THE POINTS Contest, 20440 Simcoe Street, Seagrave, Ontario, L0C 1G0. Potential mail-in winners will be notified on how to claim their prize (See Rules 2.4 and 2.5 for related details).
3.4 In the event that the computerized system is unable to fully process the purchase transaction while the Eligible Entrant is at the participating Petro-Canada station (due to system problems, or a pay at the pump purchase), the purchase transaction will still be eligible to participate in the Contest. The purchase transaction will be subsequently processed through the Contest computer system and will be included in the Prize Draw based on the date the transaction is actually processed, not the date the transaction was made. Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected claims or for any failure, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, or computer system during the promotional period.
3.5 By participating, each Eligible Entrant and the winner agree: 3.5.1 to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of Contest Sponsor, 3.5.2 to the collection and use of his/her personal information by Contest Sponsor for Contest related purposes, 3.5.3 to release and hold harmless Contest Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability for any claims/damages whatsoever with respect to acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize, and/or entry or attempt to enter the Contest, 3.5.4 to permit and hereby consent to the Contest Sponsor to use his/her name, photograph, video, the details on his/her entry, city, province/territory of residence, the winner’s story on the prize and how they may use it, and/or declarations regarding the Prize for advertising or publicity purposes without any additional compensation, and 3.5.5 for the potential Contest Prize winners, to each sign a Declaration and Release Form to this effect.
3.6 The decisions of Contest Sponsor in relation to this Contest will be final and binding on all Contest entrants, subject to what is otherwise provided in these Contest Rules.

3.8 Contest Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest, at its sole discretion, in the event of a technical failure, computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness or normal operation of the Contest, subject, in Quebec, to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.
3.9 If a selected Eligible Entrant is awarded a Prize due to a system error, malfunction or defect or human error, the Prize will be returned to the prize pool, to be re-awarded among entries eligible for the same Prize Draw.
3.10 Under no circumstances will the Contest Sponsor be required to award more prizes than indicated in these Rules or to award a Prize otherwise than in accordance with these Rules.
3.11 The Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws, as well as the rules adopted in view of said laws. For non-Quebec residents: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and Suncor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.
