New members will get 5 cents per litre (50 points per litre total) in Petro-Points on their first purchase instead of the normal 10 points per litre earn rate when they join or activate a card online at petro-points.ca or by using the Petro-Canada™ app and then complete a fuel purchase during the offer period. A valid Petro-Points card or a RBC^® card or Triangle Rewards^® account linked with the new active account must be used at the time of purchase. Registration/activation must occur prior to purchase. To join and participate in the program, you must enroll or activate online, and agree to both the program terms & conditions and privacy policy. All points issued prior to account registration (activation) are promotional in nature, and are subject to expiry 30 days from the date of issuance, until the account is activated online. Petro-Canada reserves the right to restrict unregistered cards from the ability to redeem points, and to close any unregistered account that has been inactive for a period of 30 consecutive days (meaning that the account has not earned or redeemed points during such period), and upon closure, any accumulated points will be forfeited.

For points to be awarded, you must meet the requirements of the offer and use a registered Petro-Points card, a linked Triangle Rewards^® card or pay using a linked RBC^®credit or debit card at the time of purchase.
