All points issued prior to account registration (activation) are promotional in nature, and are subject to expiry 30 days from the date of issuance, until the account is activated online. Petro-Canada reserves the right to restrict unregistered cards from the ability to redeem points, and to close any unregistered account that has been inactive for a period of 30 consecutive days (meaning that the account has not earned or redeemed points during such period), and upon closure, any accumulated points will be forfeited.
