This year, we really want to show Team Canada that all of Canada is cheering for them as they compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. And we need your help! Fan support is essential to our athletes as they compete on the world stage. So, we’re hosting a contest to find the most spirit-filled cheerers across Canada!
Entering is simple… post your best cheer video for Team Canada on Instagram or TikTok. A few things to keep in mind:
- You need to use our hashtag #LetsGoWithPetro in your post and mention @petrocanada – to make sure we can find your entry. Please ensure your account is set to public.
- Make sure you follow our @PetroCanada Instagram or TikTok account.

Grand Prize: A trip for two to cheer on Team Canada at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina, Italy with full accommodation (valued at $30K CDN).
Secondary Prize: An exclusive Paralympic experience for two (valued at $10K CDN).
Over 150 Daily Prizes: Daily prizes include Lululemon merch signed by competing Team Canada athletes, branded merch prize pack, Petro-Canada gift cards, Petro-Points, Petro-Canada Car Wash cards, and Petro-Canada limited edition pins.
If it’s glory you’re after, we have glory too!
During the Paris Olympic Games, select #LetsGoWithPetro cheer videos will be featured on our Living Leaf, a 7-foot high, 3-dimensional maple leaf sculpture with 64 video screens installed right in the middle of Canada Olympic House (Maison Olympique du Canada) in Paris. Athletes and visitors will see, firsthand, how excited Canadians are to cheer for Team Canada.
Plus, your cheer video could also be shown on CBC during a “Medal Moment” when a Team Canada athlete takes the podium at the Games.
Join fellow Canadians at an in-person Fan Celebration
The Canadian Olympic Committee will be hosting “Team Canada FanFest” events in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto. These events are open to the public and we’ll be there with a cheer booth where you can record your cheer to Team Canada and enter our “Let’s Go with Petro” contest on-site. Plus, there will be prizing and other fun opportunities to connect with local Team Canada fans.
Dates and Locations of Fan Celebrations:
- Calgary: July 26-28, 12:00pm - 8:00pm in front of the Calgary Tower
- Toronto: August 2-5, 12:00pm - 8:00pm at Shops of Don Mills
- Montreal: August 9-11, 12:00pm - 8:00pm at Gare Windsor
