As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance security on your account, two-factor authentication is now on all Petro-Points accounts. Every time you sign in to Petro-Canada.ca or the Petro-Canada App, you'll now verify your identity with a code sent to your email.
How does two-factor authentication work?
Here's exactly what happens each time you sign in.

Sign in as usual
Enter your email and password on Petro-Canada.ca or in the Petro-Canada App, just like you normally do.
Log in with your credentials
Same email and password as before, nothing changes here.

Check your email
We'll instantly send a 6-digit verification code to the email address on your account. It typically arrives within seconds.

Enter the 6-digit code
Type the code into the verification screen on the website or app. The code is valid for only 3 minutes.
